Hi you guys,

Another reveal from Sketchabilities. This is the sketch for this time:

And here is my take on it:

I used a picture I made this summer while we where away for a midweek on a bungalow park. There was a show with birds of prey and I was able to take some great pics.

The flower I made with a Gluber and some ribbon. Did you use one already? I just love them!!

An old love.....

Yesterday I decided that I want to breath new life in an old love.
I had to make it free from years of dust, before I could start, but when I had done that, it was so much fun!
My old guitar!!

When I was young I had several years lessons to learn to play the guitar. I learned to play classic music.
But that wasn't really what I wanted.... I wanted to play songs and sing with it, at the campfire etc.
My teacher couldn't teach me that...
I tried to learn it myself when I was just married, but I had a great problem with tuning.

A while ago a colleague told me that there are instruments now that help you tune, so I ordered that online. I hope it will come soon!
I also ordered a online course playing the guitar and I started today with lesson 1. My fingers are a bit sore now, but it is so much fun!
I already can play "Happy Birthday" a little bit...

Butterfly kisses

At My Scrapbook Nook there will be a Virtual Crop this weekend. Will you join? The Nook is such a great place!!!

As a starter the first challenge was:
Go to the gallery and find a layout you really like. Create a new layout based on the inspiration from this layout: you can chose to lift it, pick elements, be inspired by colors, design etc etc, anything goes. You can chose to be inspired from an Altered item too for this challenge but not a card this time.

So I went to the gallery and choose this layout from Jessy.

Flying high

Met de envelop die ik kreeg van Nicol (October Afternoon, voor de enveloppenswap) heb ik deze layout gemaakt.
** With the envelop I got from Nicol (October Afternoon, for the envelop swap) I made this layout.
De foto is gemaakt in mei, toen Andre en hans samen met Quinn gingen vliegen. Een hele belevenis voor hem!
** The picture was made in May, when Andre and Hans went flying with Quinn. Quitt an event for him!
