Paard {SPCC #19}

Zaterdag hebben we het 50-jarig huwelijk van mijn schoonouders met een groot feest gevierd.
Met de hele familie gingen we 's middags met een huifkar naar het restaurant waar het feest gegeven werd.
Ons nichtje Bo vond het helemaal fantastisch!
Dus heb ik een foto gescrapt van haar en mij met één van de paarden.
Die past perfect bij de kleuren van SPCC #19!
Helaas komen de kleuren op de foto niet helemaal goed over...

** Saturday we celebrated the 50 year anniversary of my parents in law.

With the whole family we went with a covered wagon to the restaurant, where the party was.

Our niece Bo found it totally cool!

So I scrapped a pic of her and me with one of the horses. 

This one fits perfect with the colors of SPCC #19!

Unfortunately the colors aren't right on the pic....

A dragon-fly lights beside us 

and for a brief moment it's glory and beauty belong to our world, 

Butthen it flies on again and 

although we wish it could have stayed, 

we are so thankful he was here at all.

Een libel vliegt naast ons
en voor een kort moment behoort zijn pracht en praal tot onze wereld.
Maar dan vliegt hij verder en
ook al wensen we dat hij zou kunnen blijven,
we zijn zo dankbaar dat hij hier is geweest.

50 jaar getrouwd

Vandaag zijn mijn schoonouders 50 jaar getrouwd!
Van harte gefeliciteerd!!!

** Today my parents in law are married 50 years!

Congratulations!!!

Daarom hebben we een aantal dingen gemaakt.
We hebben een fotoshoot gedaan in het Julianapark in Utrecht waar ook hun trouwfoto's zijn gemaakt. Een deel van deze foto's is verwerkt in een fotoboek.
Omdat ze geen foto's hebben van het eerste jaar van al hun kinderen, hebben we foto's gescand en daar heb ik een albumpje van gemaakt. Natuurlijk heb ik de voorkant even gescrapt!

** That's why we made a few things.

We did a photoshoot in a park in Utrecht where they made there weddingpics. A part of this pics is made into a book.

Cause they don't have pics of the first year of all their kids, we scanned some pictures and I made a album from it. Of course I scrapped the front!

Verder heb ik een kaartje gemaakt voor aan het bloemstuk.
** I also made a card for on the bouquet.

En voor zowel Hans en mij heb ik een A-4 tje gemaakt voor hen.
**And for Hans and me both I made a A-4 for them.

Deze komen in een boek waar alle kinderen en kleinkinderen een bladzijde voor hebben gemaakt.
** These are coming in a book where for all kids and grandkids have made a page.

1. I'm insecure about myself in some ways.

6. I find it hard to share my journaling about me, but I need to do it. Always afraid of what people will say.
7. I love having kids around me, but I don't have kids myself. An that's fine!
8.When I have a hard time, I'm tempt to step in my old fault and go eat to much!
9. I don't like to talk through the telephone. Have a bit of a trauma I think from my former job...
10. Scrapbooking helps me to deal with things that bother me.

Love {SPCC #18}

Dit is de kleuren combo van #18. En natuurlijk heb ik er weer een layout mee gemaakt!

Vind het echt superleuk om vanuit de kleuren te werken. Ik gebruik vaker ouder papier en maak restjes op. En ik maak layouts in kleuren  en met foto's die ik normaal niet zo snel zou maken.

Erg inspirerend!

** This is the color combo from #18. And of course I made a layout with it!

I find it super to work starting with the colors. I use older paper more often en finish up the scraps. And I make layouts in colors and with pics I normally wouldn't use.

Very inspiring!
