Ik ben vandaag begonnen met kaarten maken. Iets wat ik eigenlijk nooit doe. Niet echt mijn ding, denk ik altijd.
Maar nu heb ik een goede reden.
Vanaf maandag 8 Februari hebben we op school een projectweek. We werken die week rond een goed doel dat elke klas kiest. De projectweek wordt op woensdag 17 Februari afgesloten met een tentoonstelling/ markt waarop er van alles in elke klas verkocht wordt. De opbrengst gaat naar jouw gekozen goede doel.
** Today I started with making cards. Something I usually don't do. Not really my cup of tea, I thought. But now I have a good reason.
From Monday 8 February we have a projectweek at school. We work that week about a good cause we choose ourselves for each class. The project week will be ended on Wednesday February 17 with a market/ exposition, on which will be sold everything the kids made. All the money we earn goes to the good cause we have chosen.
Met mijn klas heb ik gekozen voor een project in Ghana. Dit komende half jaar ook ons zendingsproject. En omdat ik het leuk vind om met de klas terug te komen op het goede doel en er steeds iets voor te doen, heb ik dus hiervoor gekozen.
De organisatie Youth Service Initiative werkt aan een kind- en jongerencentrum in het Noorden van Ghana bij Tamal.
Hun motto:
Kinderen moeten vrij kunnen spelen.... om zich te kunnen ontwikkelen!
En dat sluit perfect aan bij mijn eigen visie op kinderen!
** With my class I have chosen for a project in Ghana. They will be our good cause project for the next half year. And because I like to look back with the children and start new actions through the year, I choose this project.
The organization Youth Service Initiative is working on a Youth Discovery centre in the North of Ghana.
Their motto is: Children have to play free... to develop themselves.
And that is very close to my vision on kids!
Omdat ik ook zelf mijn steentje bij wil dragen, ben ik dus begonnen met kaarten maken. Morgen zal ik een foto maken van de eerste 4 kaarten die ik gemaakt heb. Waarschijnlijk ga ik ook een Etsy shop beginnen om daar de kaarten op te zetten. Ook die opbrengst gaat naar Ghana!
Dus.... nog even geduld, dan show ik mijn eerste kaarten!
** And cause I want to do something myself too, I started with making cards. Tomorrow I'll take a pic of the 4 cards I made today.
I probably gonna start an Etsy shop to sell the cards there too. That money will also go to Ghana!
So... a bit of patience and I'll show you my cards.
