Destination: life
Name: Rogier + Desi, Mark + Rena

Observations:
What are they important: good friends.
Friends who are there for you when you are happy, but also when you're sad.  
Friends who you can call in the middle of the night if necessary and who will then drop everything and come to you. 
To help, to put an arm around you, to talk or to be silent together. Friends who sit down with you at the deathbed of your mother, even when they find that very difficult.  
The past year has made it clear again that we have such friends! Dear Rogier, Desi, Mark and Rena: thank you so very much!

Journaling:
Dear Emil,
I would like to tell you how proud I am of you. You have experienced a very hard time, at which so much has changed. Sad things, beautiful things, a lot of things to process.
You are doing so well through it all. You remain as cheerful ans easy as you've always been. The boy that thinks of others first and then about himself. You do not always want to share what is on your mind, cause you're afraid to hurt someone else. But fortunately you now do have discovered that,with grandmom and granddad gone, you can come to us to share your stories. Hans and I will be there for you, because dear Emil: we love you! xxx

Another case at CSI! Case #59. And cause Crate paper is having a Red challenge, I send it in for that too.

• Document Valentine's Day.

My journaling:

When you say the date February 14 most people think: Valentine's day.
But the first thing I think of is my sister!
Cause Febraury 14 is her birthday.
When we grow up, Valentine's day wasn't an item in the Netherlands. We know it existed, but it was something going on in that crazy America.

Through the years Valentine has become booming in the Netherlands too.  

But we still don't do anything at Valentine's day.

After all it is the birthday of Regina!

Featured again!

At CSI my layout for case #58 was on the Most wanted list again.
I'm so honored!

I just love the challenges at CSI so much.
In fact I like them so much, I turned down an offer for a spot at a DT team, cause one of the conditions was that I couldn't play at CSI anymore.... And that is a bit much to ask, I think!

A surprise trip ~ CSI # 58

 Journaling reads:

On April 28 we are married for 25 years. Wow, 25 years ... what a time.
Our plans for a trip to the Caribbean have fallen into the water through all circumstances, but we don't want this moment to just pass by. So we did a little brainstorming: going to London, a bungalow, ....
 
Then Hans told me that HE will organize something. And that it will be a surprise to me. Wow, that's exciting!
Normally I am the one who organizes surprises.  
So now I have to wait.  
Hans has let slip that we will be flying on Saturday. Oh, so we're gonna fly?! Or is that just a false clue?  
I just have to wait and see.  
Exciting and very cool such a surprise getaway!
